Know Better – Keto Friendly Foods

Hands down, the HARDEST part of following a keto, paleo or low carb diet is missing out on bread-y products.  For me, avocado toast is a staple, so when adopting a keto diet, I had to get creative on how to be able to eat it.  Enter the amazing products from Know Foods!!  I am obsessed with these products.  They’ve got bread slices, waffles, muffins, and even cookies and burger buns.  I mean, this is a keto girl’s dream come true.  My favorite is to take one of their classic waffles (they’re SUPER thick), slice it in half to make two thinner pieces of waffle “bread,” toast them up in the toaster oven, butter it up with organic ghee, smash some avocado on there, slice up a hard boiled egg, throw in some broccoli sprouts or micro greens, squeeze a bit of lemon, season with Himalayan pink salt, and VOILA…a keto friendly breakfast sandwich that is just 4 net carbs AND super satisfying.  Woohoo!!!

Did I mention the chocolate and cookies?  For the most part, I’ve pretty much lost my sweet tooth, but occasionally I do crave a little something sweet.  The chocolate chips are an amazing little snack (a tiny handful takes the edge off the craving for something sweet), and for a bigger dessert craving, I like a half of a cinnamon or lemon cookie with some nut butter spread on top.  YUM.
